About Bikash
Hello, my name is Bikash Kalita. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Cybersecurity, having already completed my MPhil in the same field. With over 10 years of experience in the domain of Computer Science and Mathematics, I have had the privilege of both teaching and engaging in research that explores the critical challenges and solutions in securing digital infrastructures.
I currently serve as an Assistant Professor at Gauhati University, where I not only educate students but also contribute to the growth of computer science knowledge through my ongoing research. I am passionate about helping my students develop the knowledge and expertise needed to navigate the complexities of the computer science world.

In my computer science class, we dive into a broad range of topics, from artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to deep learning (DL) and programming fundamentals. Networking concepts help us understand how systems communicate, while cybersecurity topics cover the strategies to protect information from cyber threats. Through hands-on coding exercises, we apply our knowledge in real-world scenarios, learning to build efficient systems and algorithms. In my mathematics class, we focus on foundational concepts that are crucial for students up to class 12.
