Through patience, empathy, and accountability, I’ve learned how to create environments where students feel seen, supported, and capable of change. I try to make learning fun and have used music lyrics as a way to introduce poetic devices and ease into traditional lessons. I've introduced reading to kindergartener through adult and the last four years in a juvenile detention center and created a love for reading.
