About John
For the better part of 40 years I have written press-releases, articles, taught college-level business English, written technical instructions, trained professionals to dozens of adults and in some cases, young adults and children.
In my college teaching, I had a 95% pass rate as the same percentage of students passed with grades of A as they were pursuing other subjects towards diplomas in Computer Accounting and Office Automation.

My main focus is to help elementary and middle school students excel in English and literature-related subjects. My method is the following:
A) Work with parents to assess the child's needs and challenges and determine their goals.
B) Review the work the child is tasked with in school
C) Find creative ways to show the child why this work is important and how they are already using these skills, even if they are unaware they are using them.
D) Help the child break down the lesson material into manageable parts and master each one, leading to completion of their entire work.
E) Track their progress and encourage their parents to give the child some rewards for good work.
