About Zion
Being raised by an elementary school teacher and a special education teacher, my grandmother and mother ingrained a strong desire for learning and education from an early age. As I have broadened my own knowledge, I have volunteered as a tutor for my K-8 Grammar School as well as worked as a Summer Teacher for the program New York Edge, teaching grades K-5. I have also worked as a proofreader for essays and creative work throughout my college years for fellow students in the library. I am a devoted teacher and tutor and would like to use my experience to help you in any subjects that I can assist with.

I like to base my approach on a student by student case basis. I understand that everyone has their own way of learning, so I adapt to what the student needs in order to encourage them to achieve the greatest success. We start by discussing the current state in the subject, what needs to be focused on, and a course of action with lessons or practice exercises that help to educate the student in the most accessible way possible.
