About Berenice
Hi my name is Berenice, I am from London, I'm 25. I have just finished my masters degree in Painting at the New York Academy of Art in New York, where I was taught the traditional way of painting from direct to indirect to glazing, starting at the basics from painting still life objects to nude models.
I want to share my love of art and knowledge with anyone who want to know more about painting.

I have taught graduate students Anatomical drawing and how to paint flesh
I think knowing the basics of the human body and some understanding of the muscles and bones helps with painting and painting models.
I will teach you how to paint flesh, exploring the variations of skin ranging from humans and other animals to fruits and vegetables. Working from photographs, and imagination, we will investigate a variety of options in under paintings, glazes and color systems that will amplify texture, reflections and depth of flesh. Students will discover painting techniques to capture subtleties of colour and translucency in the skin.
