About Nate
My teaching philosophy centers around meeting each student where they are. Every student learns differently, so I believe it's important to adapt lessons and teaching strategies to fit each learner's individual needs, strengths, and goals. Whether a student needs extra support, more challenge, or simply a different explanation, I'm committed to helping them discover the best way for them to learn and succeed.
Outside of education, I enjoy watching sports, seeing live music, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new food spots around Kansas City. I strive to create a friendly, encouraging, and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing their confidence.

I’m extremely passionate about helping elementary level students excel in all subjects. My forte is in social studies, writing, and English Language Arts because I enjoy helping students build confidence in their communication, critical thinking, and creativity. I also enjoy finding ways to connect learning to students’ real interests and everyday lives.
