About Olivia

My previous experiences as a college student, mentor, and piano teacher have strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles. I am patient, organized, and committed to creating a supportive and comfortable learning environment for all my students. My goal is to help build confidence, strengthen understanding of material, and help students accomplish their academic goals.

About the lesson

My teaching method is structured based on the students needs - whether it’s for assignments, exam prep, or general questions on topics covered in class. A typical session would include reviewing material, reinforcing the subject, and then finishing with questions to assure understanding. As a former mentor and piano teacher, I’ve learned to approach the different learning methods for students which allows me to tailor to individual needs. As a recent biology major graduate, the subjects I am strongest in are biology, chemistry, and mathematics.
