About Shara
Twenty-two years ago I started this path by focusing on the mechanics of sound production and the precision required for performance. I have worked with everyone from nervous beginners to advanced grade-exam candidates across my long career. Seeing a student finally grasp the nuances of SIGHT READING and TUNING BY EAR is the best part of my work.
My method prioritises a CONCEPT-FIRST approach to ensure you master posture and hold before moving to complex classical repertoire. I enjoy helping you build a solid foundation through consistent practice and patience.

You will find that the pacing of our work relies on constant adjustments to your rhythm and timing. Because I hold a Master of Music from the Royal Academy of Music, I emphasise how THEORY and EAR TRAINING integrate into your daily orchestral playing.
Weekly practice modules assigned with every class ensure you maintain progress between our meetings. These 6.0 rated sessions provide clear feedback on your technique every single time we meet.
I track your development closely to ensure you understand the logic behind every musical choice we make. You get clear instructions that break down difficult passages into manageable parts.
Expect to see immediate improvements in your tone quality as we refine your movements. My 13 years in the studio mean I know exactly how to fix common technical hurdles quickly. Success is the natural result of our structured work together.
