About Basak
I am a professional visual artist and art educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design and a Master of Creative Arts from Deakin University in Melbourne. Alongside my personal art practice, I have extensive experience teaching and guiding adults in creative settings.
I have worked as a Sip & Paint instructor for several years, leading both online and in-person sessions for adults with diverse backgrounds and experience levels. I am experienced in creating relaxed, social, and inclusive environments where participants feel comfortable exploring painting, experimenting with color, and enjoying the creative process without pressure.
My approach balances clear guidance with freedom of expression, allowing participants to unwind, connect, and create at their own pace. Whether you are a complete beginner or returning to painting for enjoyment, my sessions focus on confidence, creativity, and having a genuinely enjoyable artistic experience.

These online Sip and Paint sessions are a relaxed and social way for adults to unwind, paint, and enjoy a creative evening from home. Sessions are guided step by step, with plenty of space to experiment, chat, and laugh while painting. No previous experience is needed, just bring your favourite drink and simple materials and enjoy the creative process. Sessions are designed for small groups and are offered as group bookings only, with a minimum of two participants and a two and a half hour booking.
