About Nicola
Hi! I am Nicola, Research Associate at Harvard University (USA) in the SEAS department (School of Engineering and Applied Sciences). During my university career, I have taught for hundreds of hours in various science subjects (mainly mathematics and physics), and I would like to continue to cultivate my teaching passion via remote teaching. In my view, the way in which any subject is explained by a teacher is just one of several sides of the coin. Often for time reasons, historically we are used to seeing problems from only one angle, limiting their assimilation. In my lessons, I am not only explaining in detail my favorite angle of interpretation, but I do my best by explaining how a certain concept can be viewed in different ways, and I underline the conceptual connections, sometimes unexpected, that I believe to be fundamental. This depth of interpretation enables the student to think critically about the subject and to face problems that are apparently disconnected. I emphasize that I live in America, so I am available for lessons all over Italy, remotely.

Conosco Nicola da anni ormai! Mi ha aiutato in matematica e fisica alle superiori e poi anche all'università. Nicola è preparato, paziente e coinvolgente. Quando si è spostato a Londra per il suo dottorato abbiamo fatto lezioni via skype siccome volevo a tutti i costi continuare a lavorare con lui, e ne sono estremamente soddisfatta.
Io e Nicola siamo stati arbitri di calcio assieme e non ho esitato un secondo a chiedergli un aiuto quando ho avuto dei problemi con l'esame di analisi. Nicola non solo è molto preparato ed affermato come dimostrato dai suoi titoli e percorso formativo (insegna e fa ricerca ad Harvard adesso!!), ma è estremamente disponibile, simpatico e alla mano.
