About Sonam
I am currently a student at IISER Bhopal, a premier research institute in India. My interest in research enables me to go into the details of a subject in a systematic manner. I have experience teaching high school kids the basics of biology. I am friendly, approachable and am willing to start explaining concepts from the grassroots level to make biology more about understanding and less about rote learning

About the lesson

I start by giving a brief overview of the topic, why it is being studied and a bit of history regarding the topic. I then proceed to explain every concept with the help of diagrams, in a systematic manner; so that a new topic is introduced only once the prerequisites are covered. At the end of the lesson, I tell the students what's new in the field, and encourage them to study it further.
