As an enthusiastic Violin tutor with 7 years of experience and approximately 150 students mentored, I am dedicated to helping learners unlock their full potential. My teaching philosophy combines discipline, encouragement, and structured progression.
I focus on strengthening essential skills such as posture correction, bow grip balance, finger coordination, scale practice, and tone refinement. As students progress, I guide them into expressive playing, dynamic variation, and advanced repertoire. I personalise lessons according to each student’s pace and aspirations, ensuring steady and confident growth. I also integrate basic music theory and ear training to build well-rounded musicianship. My unique strength lies in creating a positive learning environment that builds confidence and reduces performance anxiety. My mission is to shape skilled, confident, and passionate violinists.

My approach to teaching violin combines structure with personalisation. I first understand the student’s purpose for learning—whether it is for hobby, academic exams, certifications, or professional growth. Based on their goals, I create a detailed lesson plan that balances technique, theory, and performance training.
I adapt my teaching style depending on how the student learns best. I emphasise building a strong technical base in posture, finger coordination, bow technique, tone refinement, and rhythmic precision. In addition to violin skills, I teach music theory, scale systems, ear training, sight reading, harmony basics, and music appreciation. I use practical examples such as recital preparation, stage confidence building, and orchestra teamwork to make learning meaningful. My goal is to develop disciplined and well-rounded musicians.
