I am a patient, interactive tutor who engages my students in the learning process. I am highly skilled in academic coaching and finding instructional approaches that match students' learning styles. I use multimedia presentations that include video clips, podcasts, and mind maps.
I try to make my sessions engaging and eventful, and will schedule brief breaks for students who have attention difficulties. I am able to help students with behaviors that interfere with their learning by teaching them positive reinforcement techniques as well as positive self-talk and a growth mindset.
I am aware of the trust a parent puts in me when they allow me to work with their child and do the utmost to ensure I meet parent expectations.
