About the lesson

I’m a classically trained violinist with 18 years of experience both performing professionally and teaching. I hold a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from the Royal College of Music in London, where I also trained in teaching and the Alexander Technique — something that really influences how I help students play with more ease, confidence, and enjoyment. I’ve taught in lots of different settings over the years, including Hampshire School Chelsea, Burlington Danes Academy, and through private lessons and workshops across London and Malta. I work with students of all ages and levels — from complete beginners to those preparing for conservatoire auditions — and I always adapt lessons to suit each individual’s goals and personality. Whether you’re aiming for graded exams, want to play just for fun, or are looking for a more creative or holistic approach, I’m happy to guide you in a way that works for you. I also bring in experience from a wide range of musical styles — classical, chamber music, jazz, folk, rock, improvisation and more — to keep learning engaging, well-rounded, and inspiring.
