About Rosie
I want to reestablish confidence in students so they can go on to meet their personal goals. When I was younger, I struggled with school and I couldn't see myself enjoying or even being successful in academics. Now, I have 3 A-levels in Sociology, Psychology, and Geography. I proudly won the 'Outstanding Achievement at A-level' award at my college and I'm a student at my dream university: The London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
Everyone has unique goals and I promise you, once you click with the right person, you can achieve everything you wanted, and normally, more!

I have experience with both non/SEN students from ages 5 to 18. I have tutored students in creative writing, English literature, public speaking, primary reading and writing skills, and textile making.
Session length can always be adapted to suit the student and their needs, but I promote lessons that are no more than an hour without a short break. When there are breaks, students may benefit from having longer sessions around exam time.
My teaching style is centred around patience, acknowledging the small wins, and positive reinforcement. I am a firm believer that 'tough love' is the root of many students' academic struggles so I will never take that approach.
