About Lydia
I am an SAT tutor with 8 years of experience and a Master of Arts in English Literature. Teaching has allowed me to help students improve not only their examination scores but also their confidence in reading, writing, and expressing ideas clearly.
My teaching style focuses on patience, structured learning, and individual guidance. I adapt lessons to each student's strengths while encouraging consistent practice through meaningful reading, thoughtful discussion, and creative writing activities.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading classic literature, exploring modern writing styles, and studying communication techniques. These interests help me create engaging lessons that inspire students to become stronger communicators and lifelong learners.

My SAT lessons are designed to help students approach every section with confidence and clear understanding. We focus on reading comprehension, literacy skills, creative writing, English literature, vocabulary development, grammar improvement, and oratory techniques through structured activities that make learning enjoyable. Every lesson encourages students to understand the meaning behind passages instead of searching for quick answers. I guide learners through different reading strategies so they can identify important details, recognize the writer's purpose, and improve their overall comprehension.
As students continue progressing, we work on evidence-based reading, sentence improvement, literary interpretation, persuasive writing, speech organization, rhetorical analysis, and timed practice exercises. I explain each strategy step by step while helping learners improve speed without losing accuracy. Regular mock exercises, discussion sessions, and detailed feedback help students strengthen both confidence and examination performance while developing stronger communication skills.
My goal is to help students become thoughtful readers, confident writers, and effective speakers. Every lesson develops critical thinking, language skills, and academic confidence that extends well beyond the SAT examination.
