About Candice
Earned BS in Biological Sciences with a conc. in secondary education from LSU. Taught Biology and Environmental Science to 9-12th grade students using the Virginia Standards of Learning. In the 2021-2022 academic school year, 91% of my Biology students passed the Virginia standardized SOL test. Experience with supporting students needing a variety of accommodations to ensure learning (IEPs, 504s, etc.). Earned a gifted master badge while developing skills to engage and stimulate gifted learners. Recently received certification to teach AP Biology by College Board.

I enjoy developing new learning opportunities, and I have a blast finding new ways to teach to different types of learners!
