About Jesse
With a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, I use an active recall approach to help students deeply understand and retain material. I encourage students to connect their existing knowledge with new concepts and, when needed, review key topics to build confidence and reinforce learning.
My diverse background includes teaching music performance and Basic Biology during college, which enhanced my ability to simplify complex ideas. Combined with coursework in teaching methodologies, I design effective, tailored learning strategies for each student.
I’m proud of helping students succeed, including guiding one to the State qualifying round in a competitive event. My focus is on creating a professional, supportive environment where students feel valued and motivated, aiming for both academic success and a lifelong passion for learning.
