About Vincent
Kia ora, I’m Vincent. I’m a writer, performer, and storyteller who’s spent over 20 years in the world of spoken word, theatre, Māori performing arts, and youth development. I’ve worked alongside rangatahi across Aotearoa, helping them find their voice, their courage, and their own style of expression. I want to teach creative writing because I know what it feels like to carry stories with nowhere to put them. Writing changed my life — it gave me power, direction, and a way to understand myself and the world around me. Now I want to pass that on. My approach is simple: I meet you where you’re at, I listen, I hype you up, and I help you turn your ideas into something you’re proud of. No judgment. No pressure. Just real support, good vibes, and the skills to help you grow as a writer and as a person. If you’re ready to explore your creativity, I’m ready to walk that journey with you. Let’s get writing.
