About Noor
Achieved Grade 9s in my GCSEs and A*A*A* (physics, maths and geography) in alevel. As a second-year Civil Engineering student, I spend my days applying the exact principles of Physics and Mathematics to real-world structural challenges. I chose to teach because I remember how daunting the jump to A-Level can feel, and I want to help students navigate that transition with confidence. My engineering background allows me to bring a unique perspective to our lessons, turning dry formulae into tangible concepts. I am passionate about sharing the problem-solving techniques that have helped me succeed in my degree, ensuring my students don't just memorise content, but truly understand how to use it to excel in their exams and beyond.

I believe that true mastery of Maths and Physics comes from the tip of a pen, not just reading a textbook. My teaching style is heavily practice-oriented, centred on the philosophy that you haven't truly learned a concept until you can apply it to an unseen problem. We move quickly from theory into active problem-solving, where I guide you through the logic of complex questions, gradually removing the "training wheels" until you are tackling exam-style challenges independently. By deconstructing mark schemes and identifying common pitfalls in real-time, I help students transform abstract formulae into reliable tools, building the "muscle memory" and confidence needed to excel under exam pressure.
