About Zak
I am a second year student at Mount St. Joseph University, which is home to one of the most well-respected education departments in the nation. I am completing a double major in Early and Special Education. My entire curriculum is focused on providing the best education to those of all ages, and I will continue to uphold this priority during our lessons. I am also in the process of adding a Creative Writing minor because of my love for Language Arts. I am working on publishing my second writing piece since my enrollment at Mount St. Joseph. I have a passion for Education and Writing, so I am eager to get started!

My approach as a teacher is very clear. My goal is to help you maximize your potential as a writer. I will use research-based studies and evidence-based practices to provide the best support. My entire curriculum is centered around finding and demonstrating the most effective teaching strategies and I will be sure to implement these practices throughout our lessons.

Zak is a great young adult. He has helped my son out a ton who has speech delay. My son looks forward to spending time with Zak whenever he can. I highly recommend Zak Smith in whatever career he peruses.
Zak is an English genius! The kids love him. He comes in and works with two of my students that are struggling to read (one is on the spectrum.) He gets their attention and keeps it. They love when it’s Zak time and they are learning so much!
