About Elizabeth
I am a second year teacher of 6, 7, and 8th grade students. I have privately tutored for four years. I am very eager to help students learn about history and help them to have fun when learning about these topics! I have years of experience within the education field due to my rigorous coursework path offered by the University of Dayton. I have experience teaching various history courses in grades 6-12. I am very outgoing, organized, driven, and encouraging!

My most utilized methods include inquiry-based, cooperative, explicit, and active learning. A typical lesson plan will begin with a lecture or reading on the content followed by active student learning in various ways. I have prior experience tutoring various ages. I love helping my students to learn and understand new concepts. My lessons are typically made for students in the 6,7, and 8th grades, however I do have experience curating lessons for several History classes for grades 9-12.
