As an enthusiastic educator, published poet, and lifelong learner, I am passionate about inspiring individuals and helping them unlock their full potential — whether it’s by supporting students through academic challenges, coaching the art of communication, or empowering professionals to advance in their careers.

Since 2018, I have worked as a Private Tutor and Coach and hold a First-Class Honours BA in English & Drama from the University of Exeter and a PGCE in Secondary English from King’s College London. My teaching journey spans public and private schools across three continents, enriching my approach with a broad, culturally informed perspective. Across the various subjects I teach, I tailor my methods to engage learners of all ages and abilities, ensuring accessibility and meaningful progress for everyone.

Most recently, I worked as a Learning Facilitator at The Natural History Museum in London (2023-2025), where I delivered and developed a broad range of engaging educational programs, workshops, and shows tailored to diverse audiences. I also led the Community Outreach and Youth programs, creating accessible, hands-on learning experiences that inspired visitors and families to become advocates for our planet.

About the lesson

Mastering English isn’t just about exams—it’s about finding your voice and excelling in every classroom challenge.

English is my passion and speciality! As mentioned in my “About Me” section, I hold the professional qualifications to teach students from primary school all the way through to tertiary level and am qualified and experienced in teaching students of diverse abilities, including those with SEND needs. I have experience across multiple national and international exam boards including: AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas, Oxford AQA, and the IB, and I am proud to have a 100% pass rate for all my students!

In our first lesson, I will conduct a thorough assessment tailored to your/ your child’s exam board, current grades, and interests. This enables me to design a personalised scheme of work for each unit or subject, which I share with you and/or your parent or guardian. I also create customised grade trackers so progress can be continuously monitored and celebrated. To ensure steady progress, I regularly assess understanding through quizzes, written tasks, and mock exams, adjusting methods to suit individual needs and exam boards. Detailed, constructive feedback is always shared with students and parents or guardians, allowing lessons to evolve dynamically and maximise results.

Also, I am open to setting up a payment/instalment plan if this is something you would prefer!
