About Serafima
My passion for biology has been a driving force throughout my academic journey, helping me earn a place in my high school’s medical program as the only senior and later continue my path as a biology major at USF Tampa. Because of this background, I understand what it takes to succeed in challenging science courses, and I bring that perspective into my tutoring. I focus on explaining concepts in a clear, relatable way and adjusting to each student’s learning style so they can truly understand the material, not just memorize it.

I’m passionate about helping students build a deep, lasting understanding of biology while improving their confidence and academic performance. With tutoring experience since 2023 and exposure to both academic and clinical environments, I focus on simplifying complex concepts and connecting them to real-world applications. I aim to create a supportive, personalized learning experience where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing effective study habits. After graduation, I plan to continue gaining hands-on healthcare experience while pursuing additional certification in patient care, reflecting my long-term commitment to growth, learning, and helping others succeed.
