About Madhumita
I am an experienced educator with over 25 years of teaching English and Economics at the secondary level, currently teaching at Birla Bharati Senior Secondary School, Kolkata. I am passionate about creating engaging, student-centered learning environments that encourage curiosity, confidence, and deep understanding rather than rote learning. My teaching approach blends structured lesson planning with interactive methods such as discussions, real-world applications, group activities, and digital tools to make learning meaningful and accessible. I focus on helping students build strong conceptual foundations, analytical thinking, and communication skills while also supporting their personal growth and self-confidence. Over the years, I have consistently guided students to strong academic outcomes, including high board exam results and success in inter-school competitions. I have also been recognized for excellence in teaching, including receiving the Best Teacher award from IIHM in 2020 and 2025.
