About Purba
I am a sixth form student at a grammar school and am currently studying Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Music. I received 7 9's, 2 8's and 1 7 at GCSE including Maths, Chemistry and Biology - any other subjects can be arranged.
I have experience tutoring younger students in maths and science since year 9.
I play chess competitively (have played at county level)- I can also teach people the game.

My teaching methodology focuses on first identifying a student's weak point by doing past paper questions and then consolidating any content that they feel unsure about. I check that each topic is fully understood before moving on to the next topic. Exam technique is extremely important and practising exam paper questions is the best way to solidify these skills. I have taught students of different levels and aim to ensure that they are confident in their studies.
