About Ugonna

I am a calm tutor who listens to his student more than he speaks. I set goals that we try to achieve together while enjoying the process. Failure is necessary for learning, it's painful sometimes but my job is to make it less painful.

About the lesson

My philosophy is learning by failing as that is the only way to improve at chess. I thrive at tutoring because I create a safe space for my students to fail, and then guide them on better moves to make. I have taught chess to students of all ages and levels. Adults and kids.
