About Cohen
For 12 years, I have been inspiring school and college students to explore the wonderful world of flute and music. I believe every lesson should combine technical learning with creativity and enjoyment. My teaching includes breathing techniques, posture correction, finger movement, scales, rhythm, articulation, tone production, and expressive performance.
I always encourage students to ask questions, practice consistently, and believe in their abilities. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed seeing students become skilled musicians and confident performers.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, music appreciation, beginner improvisation, and performance preparation. My goal is to help every student build a strong musical foundation and a lifelong love for learning music.

Learning the flute should be an enjoyable experience that develops confidence and creativity. My teaching methodology combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students grow as musicians and individuals.
Lessons begin with breathing techniques, posture, note reading, rhythm, finger movement, and tone production. Students gradually develop articulation, scales, ornamentation, dynamics, improvisation, musical interpretation, and performance skills through step-by-step learning.
Motivation encourages students to celebrate every achievement. Communication makes lessons easy to understand through demonstrations and practical activities. Integrity allows me to teach honestly while respecting every student's learning speed.
Creative learning includes classical pieces, movie songs, duet practice, rhythm games, ear training, listening exercises, and performance coaching. Besides flute, I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm development, and music appreciation.
