About Zen
I am a passionate Saxophone tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, having successfully guided around 150 students from beginners to advanced learners. I believe structured lessons help students develop both technical skill and confidence.
My tutoring approach is student-centered, structured, and supportive. I begin with posture, breathing, tone, and finger technique to ensure a solid foundation. As students advance, I introduce rhythm exercises, scales, songs, and musical expression.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and learning style. I provide clear demonstrations, interactive exercises, and guidance for home practice to ensure steady progress.
My unique strength is my ability to combine structured learning with personal encouragement, helping students grow into confident and expressive saxophone players.

In addition to saxophone, I teach sight-reading, ensemble performance, ear training, and music theory. My aim is to cultivate expressive, confident musicians with a lifelong love for music.
