About Nico
Graduated at the Conservatory of Salerno "G. Martucci" in double bass Classical and baroque, choir direction and composition, where he continued his studies in counterpoint and music for media. He started his musical activity in various musical contest in his city and several collaborations as a performer, arranger and composer. He participated in the summer tour of "Vito Mercurio and Famiglia D'arte", experts in Neapolitan tradition and culture music. His musical activity led him to collaborate with different chamber ensembles in different European cities, also participating in various musical realities of his territory, such as orchestral groups, quintets, bands of different genres. He has worked as an arranger and instrumentalist with the baroque string orchestra conducted by Maestro Desiderio Raffaele and the "Claudio Abbado" Salerno Symphony Orchestra with which in May 2017 he presented the piece "Sinfonia Terra Mia" in tribute to Pino Daniele, a symphonic composition in which many of the most famous melodies of the author can be heard in a purely orchestral guise. In 2019 was showed up "Aquila" the debut album of the international rock band Holy Tide, where he edited the arrangements and orchestrations. He is currently involved in the composition and arrangement of classical music pieces, chamber music, soundtracks, pop and rock music.

With many years of experience in the composition area, I offer preparation lessons for the entry test of conservatories and for those who want to look out to the world of music, in particular to the composition, the most sublime among the arts. The lessons and contents are customized according to the interests of the area of study and the aim of the student in the following approaches:
- composition (classical, choral, contemporary)
- harmony (complementary, advanced, jazz)
- counterpoint (medieval, renaissance, tonal) )
- orchestration (classical, cinematographic) - notations & sequencer (Sibelius, Cubase, Reaper)
- theory and analysis
- music history
