Tanja knows how to make learning language fun and engaging. She teaches primarily through conversation—so the student learns to converse about, and learns the vocabulary for, the topics that matter to them—it truly ends up being a lesson tailored to the individual needs and interests. Tanja then keeps track of all the vocabulary the student didn’t know, and uses that as the basis for weekly review. She also uses conversations and games as the basis for introducing grammatical concepts, restating things in the correct form, and so on, so that students pick them up as a natural part of conversation—not through lots of rote learning. Our daughter truly enjoyed her German lessons with Tanja and always looked forward to them.

I couldn’t be happier with how the lessons have gone, and how much our daughter's German improved in a few months.
