About Kanishka
Hi, I’m Kanishka, a postgraduate student studying Social and Public Policy at the University of Leeds. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of sociology, politics, public policy, inequality, education and human rights.
I am passionate about making complex social science topics clear, interesting and relevant. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and teaching methods to suit each student’s ability, confidence and academic goals.
Alongside my studies, I have experience mentoring and working with young people. This has strengthened my communication, patience and ability to create a supportive learning environment. I am organised, dependable and committed to preparing carefully for every lesson.
Students can expect professional, encouraging and well-structured sessions where they feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their opinions. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence, critical-thinking skills and genuine interest in social sciences.
