About Aarav
I am Aarav Jain, a SOF English Olympiad Gold Medalist with a State Rank of 1 and a National Rank of 12. A passionate and results-driven educator, I have been teaching English since mid-2024, helping students enhance grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence. My background as a school house captain and national-level debater has strengthened my leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, enabling me to create engaging, effective lessons tailored to each student’s needs. I aim to not just prepare students for exams, but to equip them with skills that will benefit them for life.

1. Initial Assessment (First Session)
- Short diagnostic test (reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension).
-Discuss student’s goals (exam prep, school performance, fluency, etc.).
-Set a target timeline and improvement milestones.
2. Core Weekly Structure
-Each class (60–90 mins) can follow this flow:
-Warm-up (5–10 min)
-Quick vocabulary quiz or grammar drill.
-Discussion on a short news article/story to build speaking confidence.
Core Lesson (30–40 min)
Day 1 focus: Grammar & writing structure.
Day 2 focus: Reading comprehension & vocabulary building.
Day 3 focus: Speaking & listening practice.
Rotate topics weekly.
Application & Practice (15–20 min)
-Solve past exam papers or mock questions.
-Role-plays, debates, or timed writing exercises.
-Feedback & Homework (5–10 min)
Review errors, give personalised tips.
Assign small, targeted homework (10–15 mins work).
3. Monthly Check-ins
Re-test progress.
Update strategy if needed.
Share improvement chart with the student/parent.
4. Extra Exam-Focused Strategy
Last 4 weeks before exam: Switch to full mock papers under timed conditions.
Teach test-taking strategies: time management, prioritising questions, eliminating wrong answers.
