About Tait
I started my career with Linux system administration and moved on to software development for more opportunities. I have worked full-time for multiple companies in the Calgary area, and in 2020, I started my own software business. I completed a diploma at SAIT, and proceeded to work as an instructor there for 2 years, while balancing industry contracts, open-source work, and additional education (Bachelor's at University of Lethbridge). I have years of (non-teaching) industry experience and pass on the best and brightest students to hiring parties, and have even hired them myself once or twice.

I teach a variety of programming languages here in Lethbridge. Everything from a systems tool in C or Rust to a large web application using Python and Django. I want to work with you to help make what you want to create. Let me know what you want to learn, and we will work to make it happen! I can either do lecture-style, experiential learning (try 100 times, make mistakes along the way, with guidance), or by asking you lots of questions until we get to the right answer together. For a couple years in college, I tutored a few students with disabilities (mostly blindness); I can adapt lessons to work around those issues if need be. Just let me know in advance so I can prepare properly. I can give you homework or not, depending on your preference. Two requirements from you: 1. Lesson must take place either in person on University of Lethbridge campus or online. 2. I will absolutely not do your homework for you.
