About Shayeri

Hi, I’m Shayeri — a passionate Software Engineer at PayPal with 6 years of industry experience and over 4 years of tutoring students in Computer Science on Chegg. I’ve previously worked at TCS and Publicis Sapient, and I know what it takes to grow from foundational learning to cracking roles in top product companies. I bring not just technical expertise but a deep understanding of the struggles students face — from debugging frustration to forgetting concepts before interviews. That’s why I focus on clarity, confidence, and consistency in my teaching. Students appreciate my structured yet friendly approach, real-world insights, and ability to break down complex Data Structures and Algorithms into easy-to-understand pieces. I also share powerful tips on retaining DSA concepts, mastering Java-based problem solving, and navigating the tech world with resilience. Whether you're a student aiming for placements, a professional switching careers, or someone just starting your coding journey — you’ll find my classes focused, motivating, and deeply practical. Let’s make your DSA journey not just successful, but enjoyable.

About the lesson

As a teacher, I focus on building a deep understanding of concepts rather than surface-level memorization. My goal is to help students become confident problem-solvers who can crack any coding interview with clarity and logic.

*Teaching Techniques & Methods*
I break down complex Data Structures and Algorithms into simple, intuitive ideas using real-life analogies, diagrams, and dry-run examples. I emphasize:

Concept clarity first, then problem-solving

Live coding with dry runs

Debugging strategies used in real software teams

Retention techniques to help students remember DSA for life

I also share industry-level insights, common mistakes, and best practices drawn from my experience as a software engineer.

*Class Structure*
Each class typically follows this structure:

Concept walkthrough (with visuals & examples)

Live problem-solving on that topic

Doubt clearing & dry run practice

Mini assignments / revision cues to reinforce learning

I also conduct periodic mock interviews and guide students on how to approach questions on platforms like LeetCode, HackerRank, and Codeforces.

*My Special Features as a Teacher*
6 years of industry experience at PayPal, Publicis Sapient & TCS

4+ years of teaching CS on Chegg to students globally

Focus on debugging, retention & stress-free learning

Share tips on surviving the tech world, resume tips, and mindset

I don’t just teach code — I teach you how to think like a developer.

*Who Are These Classes For?*
My classes are ideal for:

College students preparing for placements or internships

Graduates or working professionals switching to product-based companies

Beginner coders who want to learn DSA in Java the right way

Anyone who wants to crack coding interviews confidently!
