About Sonaakshi
Hi! I have a background in Biotechnology and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Bioinformatics in Ireland. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in biology, including cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, cancer biology and biotechnology.
I also have experience teaching children, where I make science and technology topics simple, interactive and easy to understand. I enjoy helping students understand the “why” behind biology rather than just memorizing facts. I’m patient and adapt my lessons to the student’s age, level and learning style.
I can help beginners and school students build a strong foundation in biology, understand difficult topics step by step, prepare for exams, or simply develop a greater interest in how living systems work.

I cater to what each student needs, whether it's for someone who needs a bit of help preparing for their exam, any doubts in certain concepts, someone looking to learn something new or for any biology enthusiast. So my lessons would be personalized for each student. My lessons can include clear explanations, diagrams and examples to understand them easily as well as practice questions, active recall, and exam-style questions. I also encourage students to explain concepts back to me, as this is a great way to identify gaps in understanding and build confidence.
For students preparing for exams, I can focus particularly on exam technique, understanding mark schemes, answering questions effectively, and revising difficult topics.
