About Jake
I'm passionate about teaching - specifically writing. I feel that we don't have enough writers in the world and I believe songwriting to be such a powerful way to communicate our deepest feelings and fears. I'm enthusiastic when it comes to upskilling your writing skills - both the skill itself but also to support you in your personal journey - that you CAN indeed write music. I have several songs that I've collaborated with on major streaming platforms & SoundCloud. I'm a top-liner when it comes to writing and have an acute awareness of bringing the best out of songs. I have an advanced diploma in ministry and songwriting, and can teach any level with regards to music theory, writing (the concept), and writing (the application).

My lessons have 2 elements - providing valuable tools that you can add to your writing tool belt and practically writing and workshopping songs. My philosophy - the more you write, the better you become. I take no cuts in songs when coaching and just aim to make you a better writer!
