About Lavanya
I have obtained a BCOM Accounting degree. I am currently studying towards my post graduate diploma in accounting.I have tutored accounting whilst being a student to grade 12 students . I also tutour English and Math as part of an outreach programme in my community. The students in the outreach programme range between 8 years to 12 years of age. I have been a tutour from 2017. I tutoured students individually aswell as in groups of 5 to 7 students.

My teaching method is very interactive as I believe student participation is essential in the learning process. I base my classes on the relevent topic that needs to be covered for the day, as set out per the school syllabus. I approach each topic by making use of examples to introduce the topic so that students have context to the topic . I encourage students to ask queastions and to stop to ask for guidance when they don't understand anything that I have said.
