About Laura
Language teacher with over six years of experience teaching Spanish and English to students of different ages and levels. I come from Mexico City and came to Ireland to study.
I am currently completing an MA in Applied Linguistics at Mary Immaculate College, which has strengthened my understanding of effective language teaching and learning processes. My professional background also includes experience in translation and editorial work, which has enhanced my attention to detail and ability to explain language clearly.
I am committed to creating a supportive, patient, and fun learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. I take pride in being reliable, well-prepared, and attentive to each student’s progress and individual goals.

My lessons are personalized and adapted to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I teach Spanish to beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, whether your goal is to improve conversation with a native speaker, prepare for a trip, improve grammar or prepare for exams.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. I recommend at least 3-4 hours of class a week.
I have over six years of experience teaching languages to both children and adults in a variety of settings, including private lessons and group classes. I am currently completing an MA in language teaching.
My lessons are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and for children, teenagers and adults. I have a range of different teaching materials and approaches, so if you feel like traditional learning is not for you, I'm definitely your best option!
