About Alba
Beyond my role as a Spanish Teacher, I am passionate about drawing, poetry, and yoga. Drawing allows me to express my creativity, poetry fuels my appreciation for language and emotion, and yoga provides a mindful connection with nature. In my free time, you’ll often find me going for a hike or embracing the tranquility near the beach. In addition to my passions, I also have a deep love for travel. Exploring diverse cultures and visiting new places allows me to broaden my perspective and gain insights that I weave into my teaching approach. These aspects of my life contribute and allow me to build meaningful connections with my students on a personal level while fostering creativity, mindfulness, and a love for expression.

I am Alba, a native Spanish speaker from Cantabria, Spain. Currently working as a Primary Spanish Teacher in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, I specialize in fostering language skills through diverse activities like reading, writing, listening, and speaking. My teaching approach incorporates conversations, book reviews, videos, music, and more to engage and enhance learning.
