I am a special education teacher and I've been playing the guitar for 17 years and the ukulele (self-taught) for 11. I have taught multiple people of all ages how to play both instruments.

About Cailey
I am consistently working on sharpening my skills and learning new things while also practicing what I learned 17 years ago. Music is a form of therapy and has given me opportunities I never would have had otherwise. From playing and singing at middle school talent shows, to playing and singing with my basketball teammates in high school, the memories made with music are ones I will never forget. I would love to offer that same opportunity to someone else.

I focus on repetition and focusing on what works for each individual student. My lessons start with finger-picking exercises, chord repetition, and then move on to simple songs(after I learn a little bit about my student, of course!). I prefer to teach beginners as I love working with those who want to dip their toes in and develop a love for these instruments. I care about my students as individuals and would love to be a part of their musical journey.
