About Kelly
I am a fifth year special education teacher. I have taught for 4 years at the high school level and 1 year in an elementary/middle school. I have both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Special Education, and have found success in helping my students grow and achieve their goals. Helping students find success and teaching them tools they can use to create their own success is my passion, and I'm excited for the opportunity to work with you!

I work hard to establish a baseline for each student and tailor lessons to fit their unique needs. I am well-versed in accommodating and modifying materials for students to help them learn in ways which are meaningful to them. A typical lesson consists of a check in with the student, refresher on previous skills covered, a mini lesson for new skills, and time for independent practice. I have experience teaching and tutoring students from grades 2 - 12 in the areas of arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra 1, reading, and writing.
