About Laura
Are you looking for a teacher that suits your personal needs and can't find one? If you only found stiff and boring teachers, then you can stop looking! My name is Laura and I am the perfect teacher for you.
I'm from Andalucía, a province in the south of Spain, more precisely from Almería. At 16 I went to Brazil, where I lived for 10 years. When I arrived, I knew very little of the language, it wasn't easy, I went through many unpleasant moments because I didn't know that words could be similar, but with different meanings, but I had no choice, I was in Brazil and needed to learn Portuguese. So, I absorbed everything I could, immersed myself in the language. A year later I was taking the entrance exam and I passed UFSC in Florianópolis, capital of Santa Catarina, in third place! I studied history completely in Portuguese and during the pandemic, without being able to work in my field, I discovered my passion, being a Spanish teacher.
That's why my classes are completely personalized. What's the point of being rigid if the important thing is to immerse yourself in the language? And everyone has their own way of doing it, you are in control.

Are you my potential student?
- I give classes to Brazilians who have recently arrived in Spain with little or no level of Spanish.
- I prepare students who need to pass the DELE or SIELE exams.
- I facilitate teaching for students who need to use Spanish at work but don't want a lot of exercises or complicated grammar.
- I teach people with ADHD and Dyslexia.
What will I provide besides the classes?
- EU approved textbooks
- Varied grammar books for different levels and interests
- Specific novels to learn Spanish
- Lists of movies, series and podcasts to keep in touch with the Spanish language
What is my methodology?
- I use immersive learning, that is, I immerse it in Spanish with different stimuli and simultaneously.
- Conversation is one of my pillars, I only speak Spanish in my classes and I guide the student to speak without fear or embarrassment.
- I always recommend series, movies and podcasts for the week, so that the student has continuous contact with the language.
- I use audiovisual resources to stimulate listening and understanding of language.
- I always have fun and interactive activities to learn grammar and vocabulary.
