About Khoo
Hi, I’m a native Mandarin speaker who achieved an A+ in SPM Chinese. I’ve always had a strong interest in the language, and I enjoy helping others understand it simply and practically.
I decided to start teaching because I know many students find Mandarin difficult or intimidating at the beginning. I want to make the learning process more approachable, supportive, and even enjoyable. I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can build confidence and improve.
I’m committed to being patient, well-prepared, and attentive to each student’s needs. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where you feel confident to ask questions and make progress at your own pace.

I focus on making Mandarin simple, practical, and easy to use in daily life. With an A+ in SPM Chinese, I have a strong foundation and understand how to help students build from the basics.
My teaching style is patient and beginner-friendly. I break down concepts clearly, use real-life examples, and encourage students to speak with confidence. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and needs.
Each class (60–90 minutes) includes revision, new topics, and practice.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, school students (including SPM), and anyone looking to improve everyday Mandarin.
