About Yara
Hi! I consider myself to be an extremely hard-working and motivated student, working towards a job in the field of medicine in the future. I have a great love for learning, and would be delighted to pass on my knowledge to those wanting to learn too!
At GCSE I accomplished all A*-equivalent grades under the new 9-1 grading system, achieving a 9 in Biology, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, History and Sociology, as well as an 8 in Mathematics, Physics and Spanish.
I offer lessons in all of my top subjects (those I achieved a 9 in) as listed above.

Without a doubt, every person is unique and learns in different ways. That is why I believe that adjusting my teaching style to each individual in order to reach their full potential is incredibly important. During my lessons, I make sure to teach students in an interactive way, to make sure that they fully understand every concept before they begin trying to simply memorise content. Additionally, after verbally teaching topics, I like to introduce hand-picked (as well as some personally created) exam-style questions. This is to ensure that we have familiarised ourselves with GCSE-type questions so that the real exams will be a breeze, and won't seem intimidating at all!
I teach lessons 1-2 hours at a time both online and in person, to individuals wanting to learn up to AS level.
