About Gabriella
My name is Gabriella, I am 19 doing my second year of my Economics and Banking course at university. So I can already hear the question, "Why are you doing a maths subject if English is your passion?". The truth is I can't do one without the other. My perspectives and genuine interest in surrounding texts and context would be far more challenging if I 'had to do it'. And unfortunately you are more than likely doing English at the moment because you have to. I want to light or relight a spark for English for you. Because the book is always better than the movie :)

My lessons are structured by developing understanding not just memorising. Active recall and worked practices are essential. I use multiple forms of media to ensure a programme most suitable for the needs of each student. I am passionate about English and I believe that my age makes students feel more comfortable and at ease to ask me questions and for help. I want the goals of my students to be met so I am excited to join them in this journey.
