About Dr Athira
Hi, I'm Athira—a Master’s student in Public Health with a strong background in academic writing, storytelling, and proofreading. I know how stressful English can feel when you're trying to express yourself clearly, especially if it's not your first language or you’ve struggled in the past. I offer personalised, one-on-one support that’s calm, clear, and adapted to your learning style. Whether you need help with grammar, essay writing, vocabulary, or just building confidence in how you write—I’m here for you. My teaching style is patient, empathetic, and focused on making English feel doable again. We’ll work together at your pace, and I’ll always make sure you feel understood and supported. Let’s get started and make learning English feel a little lighter.

Whether you're a beginner, a student trying to improve your writing, or someone looking to strengthen your grammar and vocabulary, I’ll adjust the pace and content based on what works best for you. A typical lesson might include: Grammar explanation with real-life examples Vocabulary building Guided writing or essay support Speaking practice (if requested) Proofreading and feedback on your work I always encourage questions and make sure the environment feels comfortable, pressure-free, and supportive. Learning should feel empowering, not overwhelming—and that’s the kind of space I aim to create in every lesson.
