About Jaz
I’m a first-year Architectural Engineering student at the University of Waterloo and also an Engineering and Administrative Support intern for a company that creates sunrooms. I have a deep passion for mathematics and love helping others understand tricky concepts. I know firsthand how challenging math can be — trust me, I’ve been there! But with the right guidance and a little perseverance, success is within reach.
When I’m not studying, you’ll find me reading, building models of houses and furniture, or diving into a new project!

I’m a first-year Architectural Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, a prestigious institution known for its top students. I had to study intensely and truly understand every concept to get here. While I don’t have formal teaching certifications, I’ve helped classmates and younger students grasp both basic and challenging math concepts by simplifying them and guiding them through problems. My teaching methodology breaks down complex topics with relatable examples, works through problems together, and offers personalized attention. I also foster a growth mindset, helping students build confidence and perseverance. With expertise in algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus, I am passionate about supporting students to improve their math skills and achieve success.
