I am a qualified teacher with QTS and five years of experience, specialising in KS3 and KS4 Maths. I take a calm, structured, and student-centred approach to tutoring, with the goal of helping each student build confidence, gain clarity, and strengthen their problem-solving skills. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for top grades, I adapt my teaching to meet their individual needs. My lessons focus on clear explanations, often supported by real-world examples to make concepts more relatable. I use guided practice to build understanding step by step, and active questioning to check for comprehension and encourage independent thinking. Each session lasts 60 minutes and typically includes a warm-up or review of previous material, the introduction of new content, followed by structured practice and feedback. I’m passionate about supporting students at all levels, helping them feel more capable, motivated, and ready to succeed in Maths.
