About Silas
I am an enthusiastic Guitar tutor with 8 years of experience helping high school students, college learners, and adults learn guitar in a comfortable and encouraging environment. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 300 students and helped them build strong guitar skills from beginner level.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, simple learning methods, and motivating students to practice regularly. I believe that anyone can learn guitar when lessons are clear and enjoyable.
In my lessons, I focus on essential skills such as chords, strumming patterns, rhythm exercises, and finger coordination. These fundamentals help students improve their playing step by step. I also include song learning in my lessons because playing songs keeps students motivated and interested in practicing.
Teaching many students has given me valuable experience in guiding learners with different goals and learning styles. Some of my students have performed at school and college events after gaining confidence in their skills.
My goal is to help students develop strong guitar skills and enjoy making music.

My teaching methodology for Guitar focuses on helping students learn in a structured and enjoyable way. I adapt lessons to match the student’s learning style and pace so they can learn comfortably.
Students begin with important fundamentals such as chord shapes, strumming patterns, rhythm exercises, scales, and finger techniques. These skills help build accuracy and coordination while playing Guitar.
I explain each concept clearly and guide students through step-by-step practice sessions. Real-life examples from songs are often used to demonstrate how these techniques are applied in real music.
This helps students stay motivated and understand the practical use of their practice. In addition to Guitar lessons, I introduce subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm studies, improvisation basics, and songwriting.
These subjects help students develop deeper musical understanding.
